Porter’s Lodge
Set in the stunning Suffolk countryside, Porters Lodge is an exquisite working garden and tearoom on the outskirts of the village of Cavenham.
The gardens were created by Craig Wyncoll & Lionel Stirgess when they moved to Porters Lodge 37 years ago. Having won the prestigious accolade of Britain’s Best Back Garden in 2004, they have delighted visitors once a year as the garden were opened for one day to raise money for charitable causes.
After years of hard work and joy creating the gardens at Porters Lodge, they are now thrilled to welcome the public to our little slice of paradise which will provide many a pleasure for all who visit.
The gardens and tearoom are open every Saturday and Sunday. Entry to the gardens is £5 or you can buy an annual pass for £20 which gives you unlimited entry to the gardens all year round. You can find out more about the gardens and upcoming events here.
